Senior Software Engineer– Contract, Hybrid Dublin

What’s involved:

• Develop and enhance enterprise-grade Java apps used globally.
• Work across the stack – APIs, microservices, messaging (Kafka), cloud (PCF), and more.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
• Contribute to production support, code reviews, automation, and test coverage.
• Apply best practices: CI/CD, TDD, secure coding (OWASP), and clean architecture.

What you need:

• +7years experience as a java developer or similar roles
• Strong Java skills (Java 11+), Spring, Maven, SQL, REST, Kafka, Tomcat.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI tools (e.g., Jenkins), and code quality tools (Sonar, Checkmarx).
• Hands-on with test automation, performance tuning, and cloud-based deployments.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and scalable system design.
• Great communication skills, a proactive mindset, and team spirit.
• Must have Stamp 4/EU Passport
• Must be based in Ireland
