UX Senior Specialist

What you’ll do:

Join the App UX team, dedicated to designing exceptional native mobile experiences for our iOS and Android gaming applications.
Lead the UX design process across discovery, definition, ideation, prototyping, and validation phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI designers, researchers, developers, and product owners to design and optimize user flows, wireframes, and interaction models.
Define and evolve the user experience strategy for mobile app features, aligning with product goals and user needs.
Ensure designs follow mobile platform guidelines (Apple HIG, Material Design) and deliver seamless, intuitive interactions.
Incorporate data insights and analytics (e.g., usage data, A/B tests) to iterate and refine user experiences.
Promote usability, accessibility, and design best practices in all aspects of your work.
Collaborate with the Design System team to ensure a consistent experience across all platforms while adapting components appropriately for mobile use cases.
Work iteratively, incorporating user feedback and product data to continuously improve the UX of our gaming apps.
Communicate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Who you are:

You have 5 years of experience as a UX Designer in structured environments or product teams, ideally working on mobile applications in the gaming, gambling, terlco or digital entertainment sectors.
You hold a degree in User Experience Design, Product Design, HCI or equivalent practical experience.
You’re proficient in tools such as Figma, FigJam, and comfortable creating low- and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation.
You possess a solid foundation in user-centered design, usability principles, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
You are deeply familiar with mobile UX patterns and platform-specific guidelines for iOS and Android.
You know how to define and refine user journeys, Information Architecture, and interaction flows with a mobile-first mindset.
You are strategic, analytical, and confident in prioritizing tasks across multiple initiatives.
You enjoy coaching and guiding junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative, feedback-driven culture.
You have a basic understanding of frontend development principles, (e.g., component-based frameworks, design tokens, platform constraints) to ensure feasibility, smooth handoff and can communicate effectively with developers regarding design implementation, feasibility, and technical constraints.
You are fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
You are collaborative, empathetic, and an advocate for user needs within cross-functional teams.

Preferably, you also have:

Experience working with mobile app analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, GA4, Adobe Analitycs) to inform design decisions.
Familiarity with A/B testing, product analytics, and data-driven design.
Familiarity with Lean UX, Agile methodologies, and rapid iteration workflows.
Comfort facilitating co-design workshops or design sprints.
Basic understanding of frontend constraints and development workflows in mobile environments (e.g., Swift, Kotlin).
Experience working within or contributing to a Design System.
Basic knowledge of content design and UX writing.
Understanding of microinteractions and their role in enhancing user experience.
