Senior Frontend Developer (Design System)

The product and team:

The Swisscom Digital Experience (SDX) is more than just components and instructions. It is shaped by the entire design community and ecosystem with a shared responsibility for design and development. As a Frontend Developer, you are jointly responsible for the further development and operation of our design system, which is used by almost all Swisscom web applications. You play a central role in the architecture and implementation of the components and work closely with our UX and design experts.

As a Frontend Developer your responsibilities will include:

• Further development of the Custom Elements Library
• Developing new patterns on an architectural level
• Finding the most convenient solutions for the 3 largest frontend frameworks
• Maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, CDN and our website sdx.swisscom.com

Tech stack you will work with: JavaScript, custom elements, Stencil, TypeScript, JSX, SCSS, Git

• Salary from 3700 to 6000 EUR monthly gross

Job requirements

• Many years of expertise in the development, implementation and administration of front-end solutions JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Git
• Experience working with either Angular or React, VueJS, StencilJS or Lit
• Experience with design systems
• Enjoy working with UX/UI designers and coaching developer colleagues
• Enthusiasm for JavaScript and the associated debugging in the browser
• Very good English skills
