Senior Java Engineer

We are partnering with a leading digital investor communications platform that provides Proxy Voting and Shareholder Disclosure services globally. Originally developed by a major financial institution, this platform aims to transform capital markets with innovative and compliant solutions that benefit the entire financial ecosystem. You will work closely with technology and product teams from various regions around the world and contribute to the growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services: Design, build, and support server-side components using Java18 and Spring framework.
• Collaborate on requirements: Work with product teams to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Review code and test: Conduct code reviews and ensure effective testing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Explore new technologies: Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the platform.
• Contribute to team success: Provide technical expertise and support to enhance team performance.
• Partner with leadership: Assist the team lead in driving key initiatives and process improvements.
• Drive innovation: Suggest and implement ideas to optimize workflows and improve technical practices.

Requirements

• Solid backend development experience using Java and the Spring framework.
• Strong experience in designing and building scalable, secure, and robust backend systems using microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other message brokers.
• Understanding of testing, deployment best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum-based team environment.
• Experience with AWS services is a plus.
• FinTech industry experience is a plus.

Salary: 6000 – 8000 Eur gross
