Junior Java Developer with French

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Java Developer with a minimum A2 level of French to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily operational support and contributing to product development. The ideal candidate will have fundamental Java development skills and a willingness to learn modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team with MCOS (Maintien en Condition Opérationnelle et de Sécurité) activities, ensuring operational stability and security of systems
• Develop and maintain Java applications under guidance of senior team members
• Contribute to product evolution development and implementation of new features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve system performance
• Document technical processes and solution implementations
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java (versions 8, 11, or 17)
• Familiarity with Spring Framework concepts
• Basic understanding of Git version control
• Familiarity with Maven build automation
• French language is a must – minimum A2 level
• Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow technical skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• 0-2 years of professional software development experience

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies
• DevOps practices and GitHub Actions
• Unit and integration testing expertise
• Non-regression testing automation
• CI/CD pipeline management experience
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Understanding of FinDevSecOps principles and practices
