Product Manager (Apps Team)
What you’ll have to do:
The Product Manager will be evaluated based on a mix of quantitative KPIs and qualitative impact, with a strong focus on aligning outcomes to the broader Seller Experience strategy.
Experience And Background
The day-to-day work involves close coordination with developers during sprint planning, tight feedback loops with UX during discovery and iteration, and collaboration with analysts to build, interpret, and act on funnel data. The tools you’ll most commonly use include Jira, Confluence, Figma, Google Analytics (or equivalent analytics platforms), Swagger, and internal performance and experimentation frameworks.

Product Manager (Apps Team)
What you’ll have to do:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for key seller-facing interfaces: the homepage before login, the login experience, the main dashboard, and dashboard feature prioritization.
- Define and manage the product roadmap for these areas, aligning with the broader Seller Experience strategy and ensuring seamless integration across product lines.
- Drive decisions around dashboard real estate: define which features or metrics are displayed, and for which user segments, based on impact, relevance, and business goals.
- Lead efforts to improve data visibility and conversion funnels—partnering with data analysts and UX to ensure the right metrics are surfaced in the right context for sellers.
- Initiate and coordinate performance optimization initiatives related to load times, responsiveness, and perceived speed, particularly in the login and dashboard areas.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, and data teams to define requirements, write user stories, and prioritize features within agile delivery sprints.
- Work closely with commercial, marketing, and support teams to ensure product updates are clearly communicated and drive measurable improvements in seller engagement.
- Collect, synthesize, and act upon feedback from sellers through research, interviews, support tickets, and analytics tools to continuously improve usability and performance.
- Monitor adoption and performance of released features, using data to iterate and refine the experience in a measurable, impact-driven way.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards for performance, security, and scalability—especially for login flows and dashboards serving thousands of concurrent users.
- Reports directly to the Product Director.
- Collaborates closely with Engineering Managers, UX Designers, Business Analysts, and Data Analysts.
- Acts as the key product counterpart for stakeholders from Seller Support, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
- Partners with internal performance teams to monitor and improve technical KPIs (e.g., load times, uptime, dashboard responsiveness).

- OKRs Ownership: Define, align, and report on quarterly OKRs in collaboration with the Product Director, Seller Experience. Ensure objectives are business-relevant, data-driven, and trackable.
- SMART Objectives: Translate product strategy into actionable, measurable goals with clear ownership and timelines, revisited regularly through 1:1s and QBRs.
- Dashboard adoption and engagement: Track and improve usage of dashboard modules and visibility tools.
- Performance KPIs: Reduce load times, improve dashboard responsiveness, and maintain high reliability scores.
- Feature adoption: Measure activation and sustained usage of newly launched features.
- Seller satisfaction: Track improvements in seller feedback (e.g., NPS, qualitative input) tied to login and dashboard improvements.
- Funnel optimization: Drive visibility and completion across seller-facing data funnels (e.g., onboarding, offer creation, performance insights).
- Internal stakeholder feedback: Maintain trust and alignment across Engineering, Commercial, Seller Support, and other collaborating departments.
- Delivery velocity: Execute roadmap items on time and with high quality, based on sprint and quarterly planning benchmarks.
Experience And Background
- Minimum 4 years of experience in product management, ideally within digital marketplaces, SaaS, or eCommerce platforms.
- Proven track record of delivering successful web-based products in agile, cross-functional environments.
- Hands-on experience managing high-traffic components such as dashboards, login systems, onboarding flows, or landing pages.
- Experience working with B2B platforms that serve a diverse and demanding user base, preferably in a B2B2C context.
- A strong plus: proven experience managing products with over 100,000 monthly active B2B users, ideally across multiple personas or segments.
- Experience designing or optimizing onboarding journeys, particularly in complex environments where users need to be guided across multiple tools, actions, or roles.
- Proficient in using product analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Looker to analyze user behavior and funnel performance.
- Experience working with web performance monitoring tools like Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Familiarity with backlog and documentation tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Notion.
- Comfortable reading API documentation and discussing trade-offs with engineers using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Understanding of A/B testing platforms such as Optimizely, Google Optimize, or internal experimentation frameworks.
- Experience designing or optimizing modular dashboards using tools like Figma, Miro, or Whimsical in collaboration with UX teams.
- Ability to define and prioritize feature sets that balance user needs and business objectives, using customer feedback tools like Hotjar, FullStory, or Typeform.
- Strong grasp of UX/UI best practices for platform-facing environments (B2B or seller tools), ideally with experience in configuring customizable user interfaces.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both Romanian and English.
- Skilled in stakeholder alignment and communication across departments such as Engineering, UX, Seller Support, Commercial, and Marketing.
- Experience presenting roadmaps and product updates via tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops or working sessions using tools like Miro or Lucidspark.
- Experience with identity management tools or authentication flows (e.g., Auth0, Azure AD B2C, or custom SSO flows).
- Prior involvement in seller/vendor-facing platforms.
- Familiarity with product customization logic (e.g., rule-based UI rendering or user-role-specific dashboards).
- Knowledge of the eMAG ecosystem or similar marketplace platforms.
