On behalf of our Client, we are looking for:

Network Engineer (EN)

Location: Zurich - hybrid

Workload: 80-100%

What You'll Do

• Design, configure, and deploy advanced network solutions (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, QoS, etc.)
• Lead the implementation and management of Palo Alto SD-WAN solutions for improved performance and resilience
• Deploy and maintain GlobalProtect VPN with Prisma Access to support a secure and scalable remote workforce
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and security patching to keep systems reliable and secure
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds Orion and respond proactively to performance and fault alerts
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues with speed and accuracy, minimizing downtime
• Collaborate closely with IT and security teams to evolve and strengthen our infrastructure
• Create and maintain clear documentation for configurations, processes, and technical procedures

What you bring:

• 3-5 years of hands-on network engineering experience in dynamic environments
• Strong grasp of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and security best practices
• Practical experience with Palo Alto ION or CloudGenix SD-WAN
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management platforms (SolarWinds Orion preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
• Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• A proactive, self-starting mindset and ability to thrive in collaborative teams
• Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are a strong plus
• Bonus points for experience with cloud networking (e.g., Azure)
