Senior Product Manager

United Fintech is an exciting company, and they are on a journey to transform the financial industry and democratize access to the most advanced software for all banks and financial institutions in the world. In this journey United Fintech has acquired CBA (Commercial Banking Solutions) in Oslo which offers a cutting-edge payment platform (IBAS) and we want in invest in a Senior Product Manager for our Payment Solutions team.

As a Payments Expert you will be involved in sales support, systems development and implementation projects, and maintenance and support services - all for the international banking community.

You will work in an international environment with the opportunity of helping to shape banking back-office automation. Using your banking and/or system knowledge, you will contribute to making our software products the best, and even better. The IBAS Systems suite is designed with users in mind, and your remit will be to internally represent the user aspects in the system design. You will work on specific projects related to your skill sets, as well as with our partners and customers.

The Role

• Contribute to specification, design and testing of new IBAS System functionality and ensuring the IBAS System documentation is up-to-date
• Conduct training for customers, colleagues and partners, in relation to your particular skill sets
• Participate in sales support, development and implementation projects
• Participate in application maintenance and support for our international customer base
• Extended periods working on and with specific international customer projects.

Candidates must have relevant product experience with one or more of the listed areas:

• Cross-Border Payments
• Cross-Border Direct Debits
• SEPA Payments
• SEPA Instant Payments
• SEPA Direct Debits
• RTGS (e.g. Target2) Payments
• Investigations related to Payment Transactions.

If you also meet some of the following criteria, we'd like to hear from you:

• Several years’ experience working within a financial institution(s) or with a banking solution vendor
• Experienced in specification/design and/or implementation of IT systems for banking products, and/or other sophisticated IT systems
• An understanding of the banking business and an interest in finding new ways of working
• Ability to travel as required
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
• Logical and analytical mind-set
• Structured way of working.
