Cisco Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide High-Level Designs (HLD) and detailed Low-Level Designs (LLD) for enterprise network and security solutions.
• Deliver end-to-end implementation including pre-migration assessment, configuration, migration execution, and post-migration hypercare (on-site support).
• Assess, validate, and migrate network devices and virtual workloads on Cisco HyperFlex.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to drive design discussions, recommendations, and documentation.

Required Technical Skills:

• 10+ years of strong hands-on experience with:
• Cisco Routing & Switching
• Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) – Software Defined Networking (SDN)
• Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
• Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
• Cisco ASA and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD)
• Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Proven experience designing and validating Cisco-based Datacenter Architectures, including:
• Cisco HyperFlex (Hyperconverged Infrastructure)
• Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System)
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Segmentation Architecture (e.g., micro/macro segmentation) including design and implementation.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to combine technical intelligence with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in leading complex data center and network transformations.
• Ability to support and troubleshoot across multiple Cisco platforms during critical migration phases.
