🎯 Your role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Golang (d/f/m) to join a diverse and driven team of product-minded engineers who value collaboration, impact, and learning. We are a remote-first product development team working together across Germany, UK and Spain. You will get to shape the product, tech, and culture of an early-stage Startup, collaborating closely with an experienced and supportive team.

Our back-end stack is written in Go and our front-end is written in Typescript on top of the React framework all running on Google Cloud Platform. If you have not used every single part of our tech stack previously, don't worry! We encourage engineers who are open to new technologies to apply and we will support your growth and learning.

About you

You will feel right at home if you like:

• Enjoy problem-solving with a diverse set of stakeholders - both internally and with our partners
• Collaborating with tech and non-tech people internally and externally to develop our product and solve challenging problems

To be successful in this role, you:

• Have commercial experience writing Go, particularly for API development
• Have experience building performant APIs in production
• Champion best practices for performance, privacy and security
• Have experience integrating with external and internal services
• Are willing to learn beyond the back-end stack such as data or infrastructure or front-end
• Have a product mindset and are driven by the need to deliver value to our customers
• Great communication skills in English
