Scrum Master - Cyber Security

Title: Scrum Master

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Southlake, TX (Hybrid – on-site Mon, Wed, Thurs)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Run daily Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Act as a servant leader and remove blockers
• Lead Agile practices in a fast-paced cybersecurity product team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using SAFe framework
• Own and deliver Program Increment (PI) planning activities
• Ensure team accountability and clarity around deliverables
• Partner with internal stakeholders and adapt Agile methods to cyber initiatives

Must-Have Skills:

• 5–7 years of Scrum Master experience (MUST BE in Cybersecurity)
• Experience in large enterprise environments
• Deep understanding of SAFe Scaled Agile Framework
• JIRA expertise
• Ability to run Scrum ceremonies without being “textbook Agile” – real-world, adaptable approach
• Preference for candidates with product company experience (Meta, Amazon, etc.)

Pluses:

• Experience working in a product-centric Agile environment
• Exposure to cybersecurity-focused projects
• SAFe certification (not required)

Preferred Background (Not Required):

• Scrum certifications
• Financial industry experience.
