Location: Berlin or Düsseldorf (hybrid)

The Role and Responsibilities:

• Oversee IT governance and implement a robust security strategy that supports organisational objectives.
• Develop security policies and offer expert advice to promote secure operations and minimise vulnerabilities throughout the organisation.
• Manage information security risk assessments, reporting any potential weaknesses or incidents to CISO leadership. Collaborate on crisis management for any security threats as needed.
• Design an annual action plan aimed at enhancing the organisation’s security strategy, as well as implementing awareness and training programmes for employees.
• Work alongside data protection lawyers and compliance teams to ensure adherence with applicable regulations.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field
• Strong experience with IT governance, security risk management, and establishing policies that comply with regulations.
• Previous team leadership or management experience relating to information security
• Deep understanding of ISO 27001 and security audit analysis
• Strong communication skills, with professional fluency in English
