Cloud Engineer

Accpro is thrilled to partner with a leading organization, in filling crucial IT roles within their Technology Division. These roles contribute significantly to the Cloud infrastructure of the organisation.

The Senior Cloud Engineer is a pivotal role within the IT infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability

Role: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Location: Hybrid

Role type/Duration: Contract - 12 months

Role Responsibilities:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:

• Systems engineering and a solid experience of cloud Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
• Ability to design and configure network topologies needed to support Products o (e.g. VNETs, gateways etc.) Scripting ARM, Terraform, Bicep
• Experience delivering robust resilient services into a cloud environment o (e.g. backup strategies/disaster recovery mechanisms/circuit breakers).
• Experienced with a variety of CI/CD solutions and platforms o (Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Ability to configure various Network topologies needed to support Products o (e.g. VNETs, gateways etc.)
• Design and implementation of containerised solutions
• Development of an instrumentation strategy for Azure environments.
• Develop strategies for management of source control and define and implement CI solutions within Azure (Azure DevOps)
• Define and implement a continuous delivery and release management strategies within Azure.
