This is a full-time engineering role based in Dublin, Ireland.

The Sr. Manager of Vendor Management for Trust Operations leads a small team of Vendor Managers in the development and execution of strategies for managing and optimizing vendor relationships for Trust Operations at LinkedIN. This includes evaluating vendor performance, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks. The role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, such as procurement, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment & performance of vendor activities and to drive cost-effective, high-quality, and efficient vendor services.
This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to vendor relationships, emphasizing quality, cost control, compliance, and long-term partnership. It is ideal for candidates with a strong background in supply chain management & program management with a proven ability to drive value through effective vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with Trust Operations vendors, acting as the primary point of contact; manage vendor escalations and conflict resolution.
Develop and execute multi-year vendor management strategies that align with company objectives and constraints.
Lead vendor selection processes, including developing criteria, vendor assessment, and selection evaluating potential vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and performance.
Partner with legal & strategic sourcing to negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Trust Ops vendor agreements. Review and manage existing vendor agreements to ensure compliance with company standards, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Establish vendor performance metrics (KPIs) and monitor adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to vendors for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with vendors to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor operations. Maintain robust contingency plans to minimize disruptions or compliance issues.
Work with resource planning, program management, and finance teams to manage budgets, analyze costs, and identify savings opportunities.
Partner with procurement, strategic sourcing, and other vendor management teams to align vendor activities & expectations to ensure consistency across LinkedIn.

Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain
5+ years in a leadership role; experience in Trust preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent work experience; an MBA is preferred.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships across levels.
