PMO - Project Management Officer

My Financial Services client is seeking an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to assist the IT portfolio and roadmap managers providing necessary strategic support in the following areas: portfolio preparation, budget monitoring & tracking demand capacity analysis, steering committee preparations

Responsibilities:

• Delivering the required analysis, monitoring and support services
• Collecting and collating data on progress measures, with a specific focus on the financial progress versus forecasts
• Analysing data and presenting conclusions to IT roadmap managers
• Providing regular reports with narrative for IT roadmap managers
• Assisting the IT roadmap managers in the development of long-range financial forecasts and related budgets
• Assisting the Project Leaders and providing necessary support for questions related to project financials and project tooling
• Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes and support the implementation of new project tools

Required skills:

• Good understanding of project life cycle (Agile and Waterfall methodology) and governance
• Good understanding of project status reporting and project/program financials
• Good knowledge of project tools and office suite (Excel, PowerBI, …)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Financial Services experience is highly desirable

Duration: 6 months initial

Rate: €450-€550 per day

Location: Brussels (hybrid - 8 days a month onsite)
