Job Title: Senior Technical BI Analyst

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Brussels 50% remote

Contract Rate: Euro's 650 per day

CLIENT REQUIRES EU CITIZENS

• The senior technical bi analyst will participate to the project enhancements and maintenance tasks. He/she will contribute to the business intelligence part of the solution and will also support in the transition of the solution from on-prem platform (SAP Business Objects) to the cloud platform (Databricks pyspark).

The analyst will be responsible for:

• Detailed identification, analysis, description, and validation of business and functional needs.
• Formulating solution proposals.
• Working closely with business analysts and developers.
• Defining and describing the test plan and test cases.
• Producing documentation throughout project stages
• French / Dutch: Proficient knowledge (understanding / speaking / writing technical documentation / reading) of one language and Basic knowledge (understanding / reading) of the second one.

Deliverables

• Software requirements specifications, data model, data flow, documentation and manuals, test plan and test cases

Requirements gathering (structure & synthetize functional and non-functional needs, analyze current systems and data flows

Technical analysis (design to-be systems and data flows, collaborate with developers to define solution)

Design - Data (conceptual / logical datamodel)

Design - Non-functional requirements (security, performance, query optimization)

Test (methodology, analysis, reporting)

Technical Knowledge - SQL

Technical Knowledge - SAP Business Objects

Technical Knowledge - Python in data context

Tools (PowerDesigner, Visio, SQL Developer, JIRA, Confluence, Soap UI, MS Office, Python notebooks)
