Cisco Network Engineer

Cisco Network Engineer - 6 month Contract - Day rates

Our client in Dublin Central is looking for a strong Cisco Engineers who are Cisco Certified. The ideal candidate will have in-depth Cisco networking experience, holding at least a CCNA certification. This role is hybrid work model and you must hold a stamp 4 work visa or EU passport.

Role Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, and protocols.
• Previous Experience in Level 2 networking roles.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex Cisco-based network solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve network issues effectively.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices, including experience in implementing security measures within Cisco environments.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed network documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interface with various stakeholders.

Education Requirements

• Minimum CCNA Certified
• 3-5 years minimum Cisco Networking experience
• Must have Firewall and network Security experience
