SW Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for individuals who are passionate problem-solvers in data and ML. Within our Mobile Networks (MN) business group, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of teams that is addressing the next evolution of wireless communications in Layer 1 for 5G and 6G. We are designing, validating, and productizing Machine Learning (ML) algorithms whose primary aim is to provide our products the competitive edge. Our teams are composed of experts in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Wireless Communication Systems (WCSys), and Machine Learning (ML). In addition, we also have junior members, as well as thesis workers exploring novel topics.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of our team, you will:

• Research and develop advanced ML techniques and algorithms
• Evaluate algorithms performance using real-life and simulated data
• Running tests, performing statistical analysis, interpreting and reporting results
• Consult with WCSys experts to refine and/or validate ML experiments
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have :

• At least 2 years of experience in SW development
• Python development skills with ML libraries, especially PyTorch and/or Tensorflow
• Experience with git, scrum/kanban, and object-oriented programming (OOP)
  
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience with Unix/Linux systems
• Interest in telecommunications
• Time-series data handling, DSP knowledge
• Experience with pipelines connected to real hardware/machines
• Knowledge of Docker, workflow systems (Apache airflow, etc…), Kubernetes, VMs
  
  

You are proactive, independent, and a good communicator (in English) who thrives in team settings and motivates others. You enjoy learning on the job and continuously developing your skills.
