Network Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain Payroc’s multi-cloud (AWS & Azure) and on-premise hosting environments
• Ensure high availability, observability, and security are integral to all network infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with TechOps, DevOps, and InfoSec teams to deliver robust infrastructure-as-code solutions
• Support ongoing operational needs for both legacy systems and newly acquired assets
• Participate in capacity planning, network optimization, and infrastructure lifecycle management
• Manage firewall patching, VPNs, routing, switching, and network monitoring
• Document systems, procedures, and incident resolutions to support knowledge sharing and compliance

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years relevant experience in network engineering, including cloud and on-premise environments
• Solid understanding of AWS and Azure networking concepts and services
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), VPNs, routing, switching, VLANs, and network security best practices
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform) a strong plus
• Experience in designing for high availability, observability, and security in a production environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving technical ecosystem
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams
• Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto Networks, AWS/Azure networking) are a bonus
