Are you a talented Backend Engineer with a passion for problem solving and building resilient systems? We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-moving, tech-driven team operating at the forefront of financial and crypto markets.

This is a hybrid opportunity where you'll be required in the offices in Riga, Latvia a couple of days a week.

About the Role

You’ll work on challenging backend systems, helping to build and maintain a robust infrastructure that supports real-time trading across multiple platforms. This role requires strong technical and analytical skills, and a pragmatic mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support integrations with various external platforms and exchanges.
• Improve and maintain internal tooling to enhance system uptime and performance.
• Debug and analyse complex systems and scripts.
• Develop monitoring and alerting tools to ensure high availability.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally with backend-heavy systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language. Python and Rust are a strong plus.
• A strong track record of solving complex technical problems and delivering results.
• Solid understanding of programming concepts, system architecture, and performance optimisation.
• Independent, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a distributed team.
• Bonus points for experience in:
• Crypto/blockchain
• Financial engineering or algorithmic trading
• Start-ups or fast-growth environments
• Machine learning or quantitative systems
