WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

• Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
• User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
• Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
• Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

You will have an amazing opportunity to work with an experienced and constantly growing team. Your first project in Avalanche Labs will be in the Banking sector.

DO YOU HAVE...

🚀 5+ years of experience of manual testing experience (planning, design, execution, defect management)

🚀 3+ years of experience as a Test Manager or Test Lead, coordinating across multiple teams

🚀 Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)

🚀 Proven ability to define test strategies, coordinate efforts with developers and business stakeholders, and ensure readiness for UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

🚀 Familiarity with source-to-target testing, including validating changes in source systems and downstream reporting tools

🚀 Experience working in regulated environments, ideally in banking or financial services

🚀 Strong English language skills

NICE TO HAVE...

✨ Experience with cross-country testing initiatives and managing distributed teams

✨ Familiarity with data quality checks, ETL testing, or data lineage validation

ARE YOU WILLING TO...

💥 Own the full testing lifecycle, from test strategy creation to defect resolution, ensuring smooth delivery across interconnected systems

💥 Coordinate closely with developers, analysts, and business users to align testing efforts with business goals and technical requirements

💥 Define and manage test plans, track progress in JIRA, and ensure readiness for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

💥 Work with international, cross-functional teams, adapting quickly in a fast-paced regulatory project environment
