About the role:

We are seeking a Microsoft System Engineer with a focus on Workplace and End-User Computing to drive the implementation, management, and optimization of our Microsoft-based cloud environment. You will play a key role in modernizing and securing our digital workplace, with a strong emphasis on device management, identity security, and cloud migration.

What you will do:

• Modernize the Digital Workplace – Lead and support the migration of workplace services to Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments, ensuring a secure and scalable infrastructure.
• Identity and Access Management – Deploy and manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including conditional access, MFA, and identity protection policies.
• Endpoint Management – Set up and administer Microsoft Intune for device provisioning, compliance enforcement, application deployment, and update management.
• Security Operations – Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, managing threat protection, detection, and incident response across end-user devices.
• Automation and Optimization – Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and leverage Microsoft Graph and cloud APIs to streamline operations.
• User Support & Experience – Ensure high-quality end-user experience across Windows-based environments, M365 tools, and endpoint performance.
• Compliance and Policy Enforcement – Align endpoint and identity management with regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, DORA) using Microsoft security and compliance tools.
• Collaboration and Documentation – Work closely with IT security, DevOps, and business teams; document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

What we expect from you:

We are looking for a Microsoft-centric engineer with solid technical grounding in cloud-based workplace technologies:

• Microsoft 365 & Azure AD / Entra ID – Deep understanding of user identity, SSO, conditional access, and hybrid join scenarios
• Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager – Proven experience in managing Windows 10/11 devices, compliance policies, and application deployments
• Microsoft Defender – Hands-on experience with Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Security Center, and threat analytics
• PowerShell Scripting – Proficiency in automating routine tasks, reporting, and system configurations.
• Windows OS Management – Strong grasp of desktop image management, update policies, and remote support tools
• Cloud-First Mindset – Experience with cloud adoption strategies, user migrations, and secure endpoint enablement
• Compliance Awareness – Working knowledge of GDPR, DORA, and security standards relevant to fintech or financial sectors

Experience & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft system engineering or workplace IT roles with a focus on cloud and endpoint technologies
• Experience supporting cloud migrations or hybrid workplace transformation projects
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, SC-300, AZ-104) or CompTIA (e.g., Security+, Network+) are a plus.

Salary

From 3000 €/mon. gross
