Artificial Intelligence Engineer

osition Summary

We’re looking for a highly skilled Freelance AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and deployment of AI-driven solutions. You’ll play a key role in developing intelligent models that support our digital products and services, collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and product leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and optimize machine learning and AI models for practical business use
• Integrate AI systems into production environments in close collaboration with engineering teams
• Clean and structure large datasets to support data-driven development
• Prototype and test innovative AI concepts aligned with product goals
• Maintain and improve model performance over time
• Ensure all solutions adhere to GDPR and ethical AI principles

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a freelance or contract AI/ML engineer
• Strong command of Python and key ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
• Experience in building and deploying models via APIs or containerized environments (Docker, FastAPI, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of data engineering practices (Pandas, Spark, SQL)
• Based in Luxembourg or available for occasional on-site collaboration

Desirable Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field
• Experience with NLP, LLMs, or generative AI technologies
• Prior experience in regulated sectors (e.g., finance, legal, public administration)
