Software Engineer Senior : Integration Platform Services Project

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the maintenance and enhancement of an enterprise-grade Integration Platform, including both on-premises and cloud-based Confluent Kafka environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and deploy Kafka clusters to manage real-time, high-throughput data streams
  • Monitor and optimize Kafka infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to Kafka operation, ingestion, and processing
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in data governance, access control, and platform management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver robust end-to-end data pipelines
  • Stay current with Kafka technology developments and suggest improvements

Technical Environment

  • Kafka (Confluent Cloud and On-Prem)
  • Linux systems administration
  • Infrastructure as Code: TerraForm, Ansible
  • DevOps tools: GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, Nexus, Splunk
  • Programming/Scripting: Java, Bash, Python, PowerShell

Your profile

  • Strong experience deploying and managing Kafka in production environments
  • Deep understanding of Kafka architecture: brokers, partitions, replication, Zookeeper/Kraft
  • Practical knowledge of Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and stream processing patterns
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and integrating real-time data pipelines
  • Proficiency in Java and automation scripting languages
  • Familiarity with high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Comfortable working in agile, collaborative environments
  • Self-driven with a strong commitment to continuous learning

Evaluation criteria

  • Kafka administration and tuning (on-premises and cloud)
  • End-to-end data pipeline design
  • Confluent platform use and integration
  • DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Java and scripting for automation
