Senior Product Manager 

As a Senior Product Manager at Hair Couture, you actively support the development, optimization, and execution of our exclusive product range. You work closely with our compact marketing team and contribute to the organization of internal and external activities. In this role, you will have plenty of room for initiative and growth, with direct influence on the product assortment and the commercial translation to our distribution partners.

What will you do? 

• Product development: Identify trends and market opportunities and translate these into successful products. 
• Project planning: Coordinate and manage the entire product development cycle, from concept to launch. 
• Product launches: Organize and execute product launches, including planning promotional campaigns. 
• Marketing materials: Create compelling and visually appealing marketing materials to promote our products. 
• Writing texts: Draft engaging product descriptions and promotional texts that perfectly capture the essence of our products. 
• Promotions: Develop and implement innovative promotions to strengthen our market position. 
• Assortment management: Continuously monitor and optimize our product assortment to meet customer needs. 
• Sales analyses: Conduct in-depth sales analyses to monitor product performance and support strategic decisions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Product development 
• Project planning 
• Quality control of new and existing products 
• Creating marketing materials for the product category 
• Writing product and promotional texts 
• Monitoring the product assortment 
• Sales analyses and market research 
• Assisting with internal and external events 
• Managing product documentation, specifications, and deadlines 
• Monitoring the transport of production orders 
• Eventually taking responsibility for managing and growing your own product assortment 

We are looking for someone who: 

• Can maintain a good overview and set priorities 
• Is proactive, flexible, and stress-resistant 
• Communicates well and has a strong sense of responsibility 
• Has a good command of English and/or Dutch, written and spoken 
• Has knowledge of and affinity with hair cosmetics (a plus) 
• Is proficient in MS Office 
• Has completed a relevant HBO (higher professional education) degree and has at least 3 years of work experience 
• Is available full-time (40 hours)

Als Senior Product Manager bij Hair Couture ondersteun je actief de ontwikkeling, optimalisatie en uitvoering van ons exclusieve productassortiment. Je werkt nauw samen met ons compacte marketingteam en draagt bij aan de organisatie van interne en externe activiteiten. In deze functie krijg je veel ruimte voor initiatief en groei, met directe invloed op het productassortiment en de commerciële vertaling naar onze distributiepartners.

Wat ga je doen? 

• Productontwikkeling: Identificeren van trends en marktkansen en deze vertalen naar succesvolle producten. 
• Projectplanning: Coördineren en beheren van de volledige productontwikkelingscyclus, van concept tot lancering. 
• Productlanceringen: Organiseren en uitvoeren van productlanceringen, inclusief het plannen van promotiecampagnes. 
• Marketingmaterialen: Creëren van overtuigende en visueel aantrekkelijke marketingmaterialen om onze producten te promoten. 
• Teksten schrijven: Opstellen van boeiende productbeschrijvingen en promotieteksten die de essentie van onze producten perfect weergeven. 
• Promoties: Ontwikkelen en implementeren van innovatieve promoties om onze marktpositie te versterken. 
• Assortimentsbeheer: Continu bewaken en optimaliseren van ons productassortiment om aan de wensen van onze klanten te voldoen. 
• Sales analyses: Uitvoeren van diepgaande verkoopanalyses om de prestaties van onze producten te monitoren en strategische beslissingen te ondersteunen. 

Verantwoordelijkheden: 

• Productontwikkeling 
• Projectplanning 
• Kwaliteitscontrole van nieuwe en bestaande producten 
• Creëren van marketingmaterialen voor de productcategorie 
• Schrijven van product- en promotieteksten 
• Bewaken van het productassortiment 
• Sales analyses en marktonderzoek 
• Assisteren bij interne en externe evenementen 
• Beheren van productdocumentatie, specificaties en deadlines 
• Monitoren van het transport van productieorders 
• Op termijn verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor het beheer en de groei van een eigen productassortiment 

Wij zoeken iemand die: 

• Goed overzicht kan houden en prioriteiten kan stellen 
• Proactief, flexibel en stressbestendig is 
• Goed kan communiceren en een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel heeft 
• Goede beheersing heeft van Engels en/of Nederlands, in woord en geschrift 
• Kennis en affiniteit heeft met haarcosmetica (pré) 
• Goede kennis heeft van MS Office 
• Een relevante HBO-opleiding heeft afgerond en minimaal 3 jaar werkervaring heeft 
• Fulltime beschikbaar is (40 uur)
