Your role
Any digital experience is made up of flows, graphics, and words. In this role you’ll help develop flows and take responsibility for the words.

We’re looking for people who share our passion for great user experience. You’ll work closely with designers, UX researchers, strategists, product owners and localization experts, and the things you write will be read by millions of clients around the world. Together, we’ll make their banking life easier and more delightful.

As we are a growing team, you’ll also have the chance to help shape the way we do UX writing here at UBS. We want to hear all about your vision – how we should create and deliver content across multiple channels, including ubs.com, E-Banking, and the Mobile Banking app.

This job is based in Zurich, so you should be located in Switzerland or willing to relocate. Your future team works in a hybrid model at UBS offices and from home.

Your responsibilities:

• develop client-centered copy by working closely with UX/UI and service designers, researchers, product teams, and localization experts
• present your work to business stakeholders and, together with the design team, find ways to address business needs through UX writing and design.
• collaborate in an agile product development environment with short design sprints, rapid prototyping, and frequent user testing
• prioritize your own work in alignment with larger project goals

Welcome to the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Experience Design. We design the experiences for UBS products and services. Our team is growing fast, and we need a talented UX writer who can deliver clear, crisp, and inspiring text.

We are a fast-paced, design-focused, agile organization that is working hard to build the design culture at UBS.

In our agile organization you will be collaborating with product and client need teams to shape client experiences while working in a hybrid model at UBS offices and from home.

Your expertise

• 3+ years of writing experience with a portfolio showcasing your skills
• experience with UX writing for complex user journeys
• experience working with user research and using client feedback as a source for writing
• equally comfortable thinking about big concepts and writing microcopy
• at ease working in a design team, ideally also comfortable facilitating design workshops
• a communicative and proactive personality
• comfortable in a highly dynamic environment
• a native-level German speaker who is comfortable working in a very international team
