Junior Software Engineer who is ready to learn IBM DataStage

Job Description

Joining our Danske Bank DataStage Academy initiative, you’ll have an opportunity to learn unique ETL skillset on IBM’s DataStage platform. You will join other .NET developers, BI Engineers, DevOps gurus, IT Systems-, and Business analysts - all working in cross-functional squads to deliver modern technology solutions across all financial domains.

The team consists of 10 people. We are an international team with colleagues working from Lithuania, Denmark.

You will:

• Enhance existing DataStage ETL solutions
• Build the applications with easy maintenance and operations in mind
• Work in an agile & collaborative manner
• Maintain good communication with Analysts both in IT and in business areas
• Work closely with other developers to ensure development is in par with development guidelines and best practices
• In the long run support the modernization of our ELT solutions
  
  

About you:

• Interest in data and knowledge about SQL
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Engineering or similar
• Flexibility and adaptability in order to achieve shared objectives
• Scripting knowledge with PowerShell, C# or Python would be an advantage
• Ability to work both in the team and individually under supervision
• Upper Intermediate English skills, both written and spoken
  
  

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2520 EUR to 3780 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
