Do you want to save lives? At Autoliv, we believe that no one should have to be seriously injured or lose their life in a traffic accident. Every day we strive for this conviction by developing and manufacturing innovative products of superior quality. Because when people can feel safe while they are traveling, they can also live life to the fullest. We believe in cooperation and therefore we work closely with our customers and suppliers. Our teams are cross functional and work in a global context.
We are expanding our team at the Global Innovation Center in Vårgårda/Gothenburg and are looking for an Embedded Developer with a few years of experience.
About The Role
As an Embedded Developer at Autoliv, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining software solutions for our next-generation safety products. With your experience, you will contribute to both the design and development of embedded software, collaborating closely with system team as well as ECU and Software platform teams. You will work with both bare-metal MCUs and AUTOSAR environments, using C, C++, and Python for software development and automation.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that span the entire development lifecycle, from prototyping to testing in vehicles and virtual environments. You'll also gain exposure to modern software development practices, using Git and Azure DevOps for version control, integration, and validation.
About You
We’re looking for a developer with some experience in embedded systems or automotive software development, and a strong desire to further develop your skills as an Embedded Developer. You’re familiar with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python and are excited to work with embedded systems. You thrive in a cross-functional environment and are eager to take on new challenges to expand your expertise.
Your curiosity and problem-solving mindset will be key in helping you grow within the team, as you contribute to the development of cutting-edge safety technology. You enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams, balancing development with testing and debugging, and are motivated by delivering high-quality, impactful solutions.
You are a flexible and hands-on person, open to supporting a variety of tasks beyond your primary role when needed.
