Schneider Electirc is looking for Tender Engineer to be responsible for the successful tendering of solution projects portfolio while ensuring the compliance with applicable company polices, process (CPP, SOCs, Solution Guidelines), and tools.

Ensure effective coordination and interface toward internal stakeholders, customers and third parties.

 

Key responsibilities / activities:

  • Review customer requirements and request for quotes (RFQ)
  • Identify appropriate Schneider technical solution
  • Analyse reasonably complex RFQs (Request For Quotation) within core business and with few unreleased contents and prepare costing as per process and tools.
  • Prepare tender documentation including commercial and technical offers 
  • Prepare offer documentation consistent with Delegation of Authority, validation in bFO. Perform advanced risk analysis.
  • Submit completed tender proposals to meet customer deadlines
  • Conduct tender follow-up and negotiations 
  • Draft mono-BU/moderate size/complexity tender (Cat. B,C).
  • Support the Opportunity Leader during customer negotiations and closing of the deal
  • Support contract negotiation to close deals in line with mandate and allowing to execute project with approved profitability
  • Process orders and hand-over to project manager
  • Clear focus on improving customer satisfaction 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Possess a track record in delivering quotes involving MV / LV electrical distribution equipment; modernization systems will be given preference
  • Proficient in low and medium voltage equipment, design, installation and use
  • Highly organized and systematic, able to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, under pressure and minimum supervision
  • Able to multi-task effectively, highly organized, with good planning and prioritization system
  • Keen attention to details, high commitment to quality output
  • Team-oriented; proactive to help and care for the other members of the team
  • 3-5 year experience in Solution Tendering and Customer Project environment   

  • Proven people management experience, ideally within multi-cultural, multi sites and matrix organization
