Architect(JAVA) - Digital Banking

Job Description

As a Digital Banking Java Architect, the role primarily involves designing, implementing, and monitoring highly scalable and robust digital banking solutions leveraging Java technologies. You will lead the architectural efforts to create seamless, secure, and efficient systems that drive the future of digital financial services. Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders, you will ensure the alignment of technical strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring a visionary mindset to create architectures that meet current and future demands. This role demands a deep understanding of modern Java frameworks, security protocols, and high-level architecture coupled with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-level architecture for digital banking platforms and solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and desired outcomes.
• Lead technical direction and framework selection to ensure optimal technology solutions.
• Ensure architecture aligns with security and data privacy regulations and standards.
• Conduct code and design reviews to maintain high quality and performance standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Prototype innovative solutions to address evolving banking needs and challenges.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and developers, sharing best practices and insights.
• Document system architecture and processes thoroughly for future reference and training.
• Assist in the resolution of complex technical issues and provide expert guidance.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to assess their implications and benefits.
• Ensure scalability of solutions to accommodate growth and increased workload.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with Java architecture in digital banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Java frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate is necessary.
• Experience in designing microservices and distributed systems at scale.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues.
• Solid understanding of security protocols and compliance in the banking sector.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
