About The Role

We're looking for a high-potential, creatively ambitious product designer to join us.

This is a contract role to start, with potential to evolve into a foundational full-time position — and for the right person, a path toward future design leadership at Parallelz.

You'll work directly with me (Founder & CEO), shaping how users first experience this new paradigm. You'll also define key design principles and culture as we grow.

We are Toronto-based and value in-person collaboration. This is a hybrid role with regular in-person work together.

Requirements

• Sharp craft, creative thinking, and a strong aesthetic eye
• Portfolio that demonstrates both visual polish and inventive interaction design
• Experienced designing across mobile and web, with a hunger to create new patterns
• Understanding of and experience designing social, viral, and platform-based experiences
• Comfortable working in early-stage, fast-moving environments with ambiguity
• Driven to shape a new product and company's design direction
• Experience with consumer-facing products where UX is a key differentiator
• Experience with games, social, or discovery-driven products
• Interest in how AI can augment discovery and interaction design
