As a start-up, we offer a flexible contract agreement requiring a minimum of (20 hours per week) You will be using our Clock-in portal on Discord to record your hours. We are actively pursuing investment and funding opportunities to support and pay our team based on revenue from sales or secured funding. Our HR Staff ensures that your hours are recorded and tracked at all times to ensure we know how much we will be required to pay you at the time of securing an investment.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This is a contract, remote role for a Producer at Segritude Games. is a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, coordinating teams including 45 developers from different departments, and ensuring that all aspects of the development process run smoothly. You will work closely with designers, artists, programmers, and other stakeholders to keep the project organized and on schedule. Your ability to manage multiple moving parts and facilitate communication will be crucial in bringing our vision to life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate communication across all departments, ensuring alignment on project goals.
• Track progress and proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks in development.
• Facilitate team meetings, maintain task tracking systems, and ensure efficient workflows.
• Work closely with leadership to set priorities, plan sprints, and adjust development roadmaps as needed.
• Assist in documentation and organization of project assets, timelines, and production materials.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, investors, and external partners when necessary.
• Help maintain a positive, motivated, and efficient team culture.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Proven experience as a Producer or Project Manager in the video game industry.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to facilitate teamwork and problem solving.
• Experience with project management tools such as Miro.
• Understanding of game development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to assess project risks and implement solutions to keep development on track.
• Passion for video games and a strong interest in game production.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience managing remote development teams.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5.
• Previous experience in indie or start up game development environments.
