As an essential part of our mobile team, you'll be at the forefront of implementing and optimizing the backend for our mobile applications. Your role won't just be limited to coding; you'll actively engage in pair coding sessions with other developers, sharing knowledge and ensuring best practices.
You'll serve as a vital link in cross-departmental collaborations, bringing your technical expertise to the table. Become part of our agile environment, and help us create an integrated, cutting-edge digital experience for our diverse and expansive user base.
How you'll make an impact
- you join our agile team and improve one of the country's leading news apps
- you develop and maintain software applications using Java or Kotlin, Spring Framework and MongoDB
- you write efficient, well-tested code and uphold code review standards
- you implement multithreading techniques to improve application performance
- you participate in code reviews, offering insightful feedback to team members
- you work closely with product teams to turn business need into technical requirements
- you troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution
- you leverage Kafka for efficient data streaming and integration
- you are a passionate developer, with a minimum of two years experience with Java and Kotlin
- you have proven experience in optimizing application performance through multithreading techniques
- you have in-depth knowledge of the Spring Framework and its various modules
- you have basic proficiency in MongoDB and its query language
- you are capable of interpreting and working under product business requirements
- you are familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- you have experience with GitHub Actions, Helm releases, and Flux for CI/CD
- exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk is beneficial
