Senior Software Engineer– Contract Hybrid Dublin

What’s involved:

• Build and maintain automated tests (UI, API, backend) using Java and frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Spock, or Cucumber.
• Ensure quality through BDD/TDD practices, code reviews, and exploratory testing.
• Work closely with developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and performance testing.
• Drive best practices in test engineering and code quality.

What you need:

• +7years experience as a java developer or similar roles
• Strong Java coding and automation experience.
• Skilled in testing web services, APIs, and UIs.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Bamboo), code quality tools (Sonar, Clover), and security tools (Checkmarx/Fortify).
• Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Groovy and the Spock framework.
• Must have Stamp 4/EU Passport
• Must be based in Ireland
