Principal Software Engineer

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join a leading global financial services organization, based in Galway.

You can expect to work on a high-impact, enterprise-scale platform with opportunities to lead technical innovation and mentor teams.

This is a permanent position offering a hybrid work model (flexible on-site/remote arrangement).

Key Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Expertise in Java, Python, and API/microservices development
• Strong cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (uDeploy/Ansible), Docker/Kubernetes, and modern architectures
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and system design

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, Webhooks)
• Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) and TDD frameworks
• Background in Contact Center technologies or large-scale distributed systems

EU/Stamp 4 work authorization required.
