Your Day-to-Day

This job posting is for an Android Software Engineer on our Engineering team. Here's what you'll be doing in your day-to-day work:

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android app framework that will be used by millions of users across the world.
• Apply agile software development practices and define application architecture models and programming standards
• Make confident architecture and UX decisions based on skill, experience, and research.
• Evangelize your application across worldwide business users to increase adoption.
• Pioneer best practices, testing and coding standards for a fast-growing company.
• Support application use at a massive scale.

Are You a Fit?

Must-have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Familiar with data structure, system design, design patterns, API designs, MVP
• or MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
• Full stack background is a huge plus. Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL,
• Firebase, etc is a plus.
• A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Hands-on experience working on highly scalable projects.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Nice-to-have Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.
• Unit/ instrumented Testing experience
• Experience with Kotlin, Rx, Dependency injection and Android architecture components.
