Strategic Staffing Solutions International's client is one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies, committed to delivering affordable, reliable, and ever-cleaner energy.
Since company's team in Lithuania is growing, they are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the digital transformation project. This role will play a key part in enhancing the cloud infrastructure, streamlining application deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability of critical systems.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Microsoft Azure, strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and hands-on experience with Ansible automation.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
- Automate configuration management and application deployments using Ansible
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to build CI/CD pipelines and automate workflows
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability
- Ensure compliance with Chevron’s security and operational standards
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure services (VMs, networking, storage, AKS, etc.)
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.)
Nice to have:
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
