Business Analyst for Girteka Transport Unit

The objective of the Business Control Group is to ensure timely and high-quality financial analysis and reporting for the CEO and other decision-makers. We are looking a Business Analyst for the Girteka Transport unit, who will be accountable for cost analysis, planning, budget creation, comparing actuals, reviewing business and accounting processes, and managing various ad hoc tasks. The key of the position is to connect accounting data with decision-makers - the numbers do not tell full story, so communication will be an important part in your job – you will be regularly communicating with business managers, business process units, financial analysts, accounting department and many other colleagues at Girteka Group.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain active communication with accounting and responsible individuals to ensure accurate cost control.
• Actively participate in the budgeting process to ensure financial goals alignment.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Lead projects aimed at identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Assist in collecting, understanding, and documenting business needs and requirements from stakeholders (clients, management, etc.).
• Cooperate with IT department to implement business requirements.
• Create detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing findings for business leaders or stakeholders.
• Perform data collection and reporting, often using tools like Excel or BI tools.
• Assist in validating solutions by helping with testing and ensuring they meet business requirements.

Our expectations

• Proven working experience with financial reporting and analytical tasks (at least 2 years). Experience in BIG4 companies is an advantage.
• Strong academic background, ideally holding a degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Economics.
• Understanding of the accounting processes
• Strong MS Excel skills. Experience with Microsoft AX, QlikView, SAP is an advantage.
• Proficient in analytical thinking and possessing a process-oriented mindset.
• Proven data analysis skills with technical capabilities.
• Excellent English and good Lithuanian knowledge.

Base monthly salary: from €2760 to €3450 (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the position's requirements.
