About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Speech Machine Learning Intern to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Speech Machine Learning Intern to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research and development in speech recognition and machine learning algorithms. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and data scientists to develop and improve speech processing systems and models that impact real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and optimization of speech recognition models.
- Work with large datasets to preprocess and clean speech and audio data.
- Implement machine learning algorithms for speech-to-text, speaker identification, and natural language processing (NLP) tasks.
- Test and evaluate model performance, and contribute to model tuning and debugging.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers to improve system accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct literature reviews and research into state-of-the-art speech and machine learning techniques.
- Document and report on findings, progress, and results.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, especially in the areas of speech recognition, natural language processing, or deep learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with speech recognition tools and libraries (e.g., Kaldi, SpeechRecognition, or DeepSpeech) is a plus.
- Experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and processing (e.g., NumPy, pandas).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets or cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques and audio data formats.
- Familiarity with deep learning architectures like RNNs, LSTMs, or Transformers.
- Hands-on experience in speech machine learning and natural language processing.
