Robotics and AI Engineer - Multiple positions

eProsima develops the core components of ROS2, the latest version of the Robot Operating System, connecting and orchestrating a robot's different units, sensors, and actuators.

Robots are now everywhere: Autonomous vehicles, IoT Devices, Drones, smart manufacturing and logistics, and our software powers many of them.

And Robots and AI go together: eProsima is developing a framework for distributed and sustainable AI, and several projects combining fundamental research and practical applications, including LLMs.

Now we are hiring experienced C++ engineers to be part of the core team for our main product, which is used in thousands of robots and many other critical systems around the world, and deploy it in a variety of scenarios mixing Robotics and AI.

The position involves participating in a modern development process:

• Design new features: Requirements & API
• C++ Development targeting different platforms (Linux, Windows, MacOS, QNX, VxWorks…)
• Test both functionality and performance.
• Code Reviews.
• Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
• Documentation (user manual, API reference, examples)

Minimum Requirements:

• Very good C/C++ level. A minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience with Multithreading
• Multi-platform development: Linux and Windows.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and protocols.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins.
• Good English Level.
• AI Background is a plus.
