WHAT YOU WILL DO

Strategy & Reporting – 20%
- Partner closely with the Operations and QA Lead to implement the overall testing strategy, including the automation strategy for the team.
- Actively participate in planning and strategy meetings for key initiatives.
- Develop milestones, test plans, and publish reports.
- Identify automation opportunities and actively advocate for increasing automation coverage/shift-left practices.
Execution – 80%
- Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution, especially for strategic initiatives.
- Analyze requirements, use cases, design documents, etc., and provide input from a testing perspective.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated tests.
- Contribute to the automation framework.
- Log, review, and triage defects for strategic initiatives.
- Assist with production issues/live site testing when needed.
- Conduct exploratory testing as needed.

MUST HAVES

Skill Set Required
- Quality Assurance Expertise: Minimum 5 years of hands-on testing experience in both manual and automation testing. - Proven experience in creating test strategies and test plans; expertise in identifying the scope of automation and driving automation test development; experience with API testing.
- Technical Experience: Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, and Python. Must have experience with the tools listed below.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is required when testing web and mobile applications to identify issues and areas for improvement.
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with engineering and leadership teams.
- English: Upper-Intermediate level.
Tools Knowledge
- 3+ years of automation experience.
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, and Jest.
- Experience working with Postman.
- Experience with mobile automation testing tools for Android and iOS.
- Experience with continuous integration tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub.
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
- Experience working with JIRA for defect tracking and task creation.
- Knowledge of Confluence and SharePoint.
- Experience with test management tools.
- Experience in CI/CD QA automation – integrating automated tests into continuous integration/delivery workflows.

NICE TO HAVES

- Experience working with offshore/nearshore/onshore team models.
- AWS experience.
- Azure experience.
- Experience with eCommerce applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
