Senior Network Security Support Specialist – Security Service Edge (SSE) role:

Summary Description:

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Support Specialist with deep experience in Security Service Edge (SSE) and Zscaler solutions to join our Cybersecurity Practice Team. This role involves supporting a major enterprise client in managing and evolving their network security posture, focusing on Zscaler, firewalls, and SSE technologies. You will act as a senior escalation point, working on complex issues, implementations, and service improvements in a multi-vendor environment.

Requirements Description:

• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in network and cybersecurity roles.
• Extensive knowledge of Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions, particularly Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZCC, ZDX).
• Proven track record of working in large-scale, multi-vendor environments.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, design, and manage network security architectures.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Tasks Description:

• Provide 3rd-level support for Zscaler and SSE technologies.
• Analyze and resolve complex network and security issues.
• Design, configure, and optimize Zscaler policies, application segments, and traffic flows.
• Lead incident management and root cause analysis.
• Migrate legacy proxies to Zscaler cloud-based infrastructure.
• Collaborate with service providers and internal teams to maintain SLA and quality.
• Participate in project implementation and service improvement initiatives.
• Document technical processes and deliver training/knowledge sessions.

Essential Skills/Experience Description:

• Hands-on experience with:
• Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC
• Secure Web Gateways, CASB, ZTNA
• SSL Inspection & Certificate Management
• Firewall management (rule creation, review, remediation)
• Strong background in:
• Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
• VLAN/VTP/STP/HSRP/VRRP/GLBP/VSS/vPC
• Cloud networking (preferably Azure)
• Proxy rule configuration and exception handling
• Experience with network automation tools (e.g., REST API)
• Proficiency in Cisco technologies: ISE, AAA, ACS, WLC, Prime, DNA

Desirable Skills/Additional Information Description:

• Industry certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (preferred)
• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN, SDN configurations, or Azure ExpressRoute
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with senior stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
