Construction Project Manager

We are expanding the Action team in Romania to drive our local growth and development. We are now looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join us on this exciting journey.

In this role, you will directly support the development of our retail network by leading new store construction projects. You will report to the Construction Manager and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders (contractors, suppliers, local authorities).

What you will do:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the execution of construction projects from initial prospect to store opening;
• Conduct technical inspections for both potential and rented properties;
• Manage budgets and timelines, and ensure quality control throughout each project;
• Collaborate with Acquisition Managers, Store Designers, and Store Operations teams;
• Maintain documentation and ensure smooth handovers post-construction;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners (contractors, suppliers, municipalities and other state authorities);
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes.

What we’re looking for:

• Technical academic degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience
• Solid background in project management in retail construction
• Experience managing multiple real estate projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills in English and Romanian
• Structured, pragmatic, deadline-oriented, and able to work under pressure
• A proactive approach and ability to drive results independently and in collaboration with others
