BI & Data Visualization Specialist

We presently have an opportunity for a BI & Data Visualization Specialist.

The purpose of the position is to support leadership teams to make better, data-driven decisions, by providing timely and accurate data.

Responsibilities:

• Develop & maintain automated reports that provide up-to-date and accurate insights. This reduces the time spent on manual report creation and ensures consistent data reporting throughout the company.
• Create clear, interactive, and user-friendly visualizations (dashboards, charts, graphs) that allow teams to quickly analyze key metrics and trends, supporting decision-making across the organization.
• Transform raw data into meaningful insights, BI Developers help decision-makers identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement, leading to more informed and strategic decisions.
• Make data accessible to non-technical stakeholders through self-service PowerBI tool. This allows team members across departments to explore data and gather insights independently without needing advanced technical skills.
• Tailor reports and dashboards to meet the unique needs of various business units. This customization helps different teams focus on the KPIs and metrics most relevant to their goals and objectives.

Skills:

• Higher education with a technical or marketing background;
• Advanced knowledge of English;
• Analytical skills: proficiency in data analysis techniques and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful information for decision making;
• Technical skills: proficiency in the use of BI tools and technologies: data warehousing, data modelling, SQL (Structured Query Language) and database management systems. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik is also valuable;
• Data management skills: data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes, data quality assurance and data governance;
• Communication and presentation skills: BI professionals need to effectively communicate complex data analysis to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences;
• Problem solving and critical thinking: The ability to think critically, identify patterns and develop innovative solutions is highly valuable.
