About The Opportunity
At Bitvavo, we are on a mission to make digital assets accessible to everyone. As a Listing Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping our asset offering and driving the relevance and competitiveness of our platform. Sitting within the Digital Assets team and collaborating closely with Compliance, Legal, Product, Marketing, and our Market Making business development function, you will identify, evaluate, and help onboard high-potential digital assets. Your ability to spot trends, form genuine connections in the ecosystem, and align listings with Bitvavo’s strategic goals will directly influence customer engagement and revenue growth.
Please note: For this position, we are only considering candidates with proven experience in the crypto industry or at a market maker. This is due to the highly network-driven nature of the role. Success requires strong existing relationships across protocols and funds, and a deep understanding of market dynamics, token lifecycles, and blockchain infrastructure. A proactive and commercial mindset is essential to ensure Bitvavo lists the right assets at the right time, fully supported by a compliant and liquid market.
Travel requirement: This role involves frequent international travel, typically 1–2 conferences abroad per month, to represent Bitvavo, expand our network, and maintain close relationships with key ecosystem partners.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and source new digital assets aligned with market trends, community interest, and Bitvavo’s strategic priorities
- Maintain and grow a strong network of relationships with protocols, funds, launchpads, and ecosystem players
- Act as the first point of contact for listing requests and evaluate opportunities against internal listing criteria
- Collaborate with the Assessment team to perform in-depth due diligence and support de-listing processes when needed
- Present listing proposals and strategic asset opportunities to the Listings Committee for review and decision-making
- Negotiate exclusive listings, marketing campaigns, or other high-impact partnerships that enhance our offering
- Represent Bitvavo at local and international crypto events to strengthen our brand visibility and relationship network
- Proven experience in the crypto industry or at a market maker, with a deep understanding of token projects, networks, and market structures
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or investment analysis in crypto, fintech, or tech
- Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to engage founders, funds, and ecosystem partners with credibility
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive value-aligned outcomes for Bitvavo and its users
- Comfortable taking full ownership in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and cross-functional dependencies
- Demonstrates sound judgment, ethical integrity, and professionalism in all external and internal interactions
- Able and willing to travel internationally on a monthly basis
- Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus
