Responsibilities:
- Assist efforts in the development and implementation of the global Compliance Risk Management Program, intended to identify, assess, manage and monitor Compliance Risk robustly. Assist with the process of EWRA on at least an annual basis.
- Lead Risk Assessments of additional segments that are not yet integrated into the EWRA Program: Anti-Bribery Corruption, Sanctions, Market Abuse.
- Liaise with the Compliance team to participate in the risk assessment of new, changing, or existing products.
- Work with the business and team to document and maintain the control inventories, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to both external and internal policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across varying levels globally to ensure methodology and execution meet expectations/needs.
- Support the regional, business and product teams in developing and managing policies, procedures, and processes used for risk mitigation and ongoing compliance risk assurance, i.e., building out the Compliance Risk control environment.
- Assist with all pillars of the developed Compliance Risk Management framework, including but not limited to horizon scanning, including those relating to AML and CFT, regulatory perimeter, and impact assessments on upcoming regulatory changes.
- Assist with the development of timely, effective, and efficient management information on Compliance Risk insights and performance.
- Produce MI/metrics, to be provided to senior management on a continuous basis, outlining areas of heightened risks/status of the recommendations from the EWRA exercise.
- Monitor and report RAS KRIs on an ongoing basis, with clear recommendations where the risk levels are outside the set appetite.
- Degree in a business management, finance, or economics field.
- Advanced professional risk certificate is preferred (e.g., CAMS-RM).
- 5+ years as a compliance professional in a regulated financial services environment.
- 2+ years of direct experience in Compliance Risk and EWRA implementation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organization while maintaining close contact with relevant teams across multiple locations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts into a format digestible by a diverse audience.
