Full Stack PHP Developer - Remote - FinTech

Our client is looking for a solution-focused Full Stack PHP Developer who is a great communicator and a team player. As a Full Stack PHP Developer you will participate in product and platform development - work closely with the product teams to develop new features, frameworks and detailed application designs on core architecture of the company's backend system and developing and maintain scalable software solutions and high-quality web platforms that are built up with automation in mind.

Full Stack PHP Developer activities;

• Build from front to back: Develop user-facing features using React and engineer solid server-side logic using PHP and Yii.
• Collaborate across functions: Work closely with product managers and designers to turn ideas into reality—fast, functional, and beautiful.
• Keep things smooth: Debug and resolve issues across the full stack, from API performance to browser quirks.
• Write with pride: Deliver clean, maintainable, well-tested code that follows best practices in PHP, Yii2, and React.
• Own your solutions: Document your work, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape scalable, future-ready architecture.

Full Stack PHP Developer - What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with PHP, particularly with the Yii or Symfony framework
• Some frontend development skills with JavaScript, React, and modern UI patterns
• A product mindset: you think about the end-user, performance, and maintainability
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud hosting environments

Full Stack PHP Developer Requirements:

• At least 4+ years commercial experience with PHP, Yii, Symfony OR Laravel
• Proven coding skills with modern Frontend Framework (Preferably React). Comfortable to start quickly with their React codebase
• Natural prioritization of writing tests and creating reliable, well-tested code without needing reminders
• Taking initiative and focusing on short-term and long-term solutions
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Results oriented - deliver high-quality code in a timely manner
• Familiar with Kanban or other Agile development methodologies
