Senior Specialist - Innovative & Self-Driving Transportation systems

JOB PURPOSE:

Coordination and follow-up to projects and follow-up on addressing the challenges associated with them in coordination with the relevant sections & departments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

1. Monitor technological developments in the field of smart public transportation and ensure their adoption and implementation in the Emirate of Dubai.
2. Cooperate with relevant authorities to develop laws and regulations that support the application of modern technologies in the field of transportation.
3. Monitor and evaluate the results of the application of modern technologies in the field of public transportation and analyze data to extract lessons and make recommendations.
4. Submit periodic reports to management on the development of smart and innovative public transportation systems and provide recommendations for their improvement.
5. Cooperate with government and private entities to expand the use of modern technologies in the field of public transportation.
6. Develop and implement training programs for personnel working in the field of smart public transportation to improve the level of services provided.
7. Participate in joint committees and working groups aimed at improving and developing the public transportation system in cooperation with relevant authorities.
8. Prepare reports and responses, as instructed, to managers, section heads, and committee heads on matters related to relevant departments, both within and outside the RTA, and with relevant parties.
9. Follow up on the closure of correspondence received by the department from all RTA agencies and sectors.
10. Follow up with all project managers to ensure their compliance with project requirements.
