Lead .NET Developer – Build and Lead a New Practice

Location: Oslo, Norway

Language Requirement: Fluent Norwegian (preferably Norwegian, Danish, or Swedish nationality)

Salary: Up to 1.1 million NOK base when not on project for security

A boutique consulting firm in Oslo is looking for an experienced and driven Lead .NET Developer to establish and grow its .NET capability. This is a strategic hire the first in this technology area and the right candidate will play a central role in shaping the direction of .NET delivery within the company.

About the Role

• Take full ownership of the .NET domain and build a team around you.
• Lead by example in both client-facing projects and internal development initiatives.
• Initially, you’ll be fully allocated to a client project, but internal leadership responsibilities will be recognised and billed at the same rate.
• You’ll be instrumental in setting technical standards, mentoring future hires, and contributing to the company’s long-term growth in this space.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on .NET development experience.
• Strong consulting background — you understand client needs and how to deliver value.
• Excellent communication skills and a confident, engaging presence.
• Fluent in Norwegian (or Danish/Swedish with strong Norwegian proficiency).
• A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in building and leading a team.
