The position
We are looking for a development engineer for our electromobility driveline projects for industrial and marine applications. One part of the job is to calibrate the driveline to optimize its features. This work is done in close co-operation with neighboring hardware and software teams. Another part of the role is to perform verification testing to demonstrate that the driveline fulfills project requirements. Project work is mainly performed at Volvo Penta’s sites in Gothenburg but can also be carried out at customer sites across the world.

You probably have a pioneering mindset that could help us to develop new ways of working for electromobility development. We believe that you are structured, self-driven and have good analytical skills. Teamwork is important for us and therefore we believe that you are also helpful and happy to share your knowledge with your team.
You have good communication and presentation skills which is important since we work in cross-functional projects teams. You are also confident and do not hesitate to reach across the organization when needed.
